The Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series and Smörgåsbord continues its 19th season with a concert devoted to Norway on Sunday, April 27. A trio of talented Seattle musicians will present the concert “Breaking the Language Barrier: Norwegian & Danish Songs by Foreigners.”

Soprano Laura Loge is a specialist in Scandinavian Art Song and a graduate of Stavanger Conservatory, St. Olaf College, and the New England Conservatory. She has been hailed for her "luminous stage presence" and "characterful and versatile voice." Loge will be joined by Seattle Opera Chorus Master Beth Kirchhoff and Seattle Symphony and Seattle Chamber Players’ Laura DeLuca.

The trio presents an in-depth, fascinating exploration of the vivid network of Grieg, Delius, and Schumann paired with the evocative and haunting work Natt Sanger of American composer Abbie Betinis.
