Bergen Exchange Visitor Julie Ane Ødegaard Researches Civic Education

Julie Ane Ødegaard is a visiting PhD candidate from the Department of comparative politics at the University of Bergen in Norway. Her main research interests are civic education and political participation among youth. She is currently working on her thesis about mock elections in school with the title:  “Why vote? What students learn about voting in school”.

During her research stay Julie will, amongst other things, be visiting high schools to learn more about how civic education is conducted here. She will be staying until mid- June.
