Short description:
Combines two subject areas – history and film studies. Surveys how 
migrants from and to Sweden from the second half of the 1800s up until today have been constructed as “the other”.  Historic and cinematic interrelations concerning national identity, migration and multiculturalism in Sweden are discussed and analyzed.
