Crab feed with Silent and Dessert Auctions for Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Sons of Norway, Educational Foundation
Join us on Saturday, January 26, 2013, starting at 6PM, for our annual Crab Feed Educational Foundation fundraiser dinner and dance. The meal includes Dungeness crab or stuffed chicken breast or Cornish Game Hen, baked potato, coleslaw, garlic bread, beverage, and dessert auction. There is a no host bar during the evening.
Molly Barnes, our 2012 Leadership Scholarship recipient will show off her singing skills, too. Miles from Chicago will provide some great dancing blues/rock dance music. The event is sponsored by Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Sons of Norway, Educational Foundation a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. See attached for 2013 scholarship summaries and a flyer!

The Leif Erikson Hall Office, 206-783-1274, from 10AM-3PM Monday through Friday is selling tickets now. Tickets are now $30 for adults (only until Tuesday) and $15 for students and children 12 and under. Make your checks payable to the LEL Educational Foundation. After Tuesday, January 22, 2013, tickets will be $35.00 since they have to go out and catch the crab for our order and they’ll have to go again for any latecomers. Bring your own picks and crab crackers! You can also send a self addressed stamped envelope with a check made out to the LEL Educational Foundation indicating whether you want crab (whole with goodies or cleaned without goodies) or stuffed chicken breast or Cornish Game Hen to:

The very successful and delicious dessert auction includes some fantastic cakes made by local bakeries for attendees who delight in eating their prize winnings.
Proceeds benefit the Leif Erikson Lodge 2-001, Sons of Norway, Educational Foundation fund which supports instructors/counselors at District 2 Youth Camps, attendees to District 2 Youth Camps and young leaders in the community who are attending either an institution of higher learning or trade school.
