Syllabus Description:

In this course, you will be introduced to a rich Lithuanian culture - art, film, history, literature, political system, language, as well as the issues of today. 

We will watch films and videos, listen to music, and read some texts and literature during the course. 

Course topics:
Lithuanian nature. Mythology. Folk art. Traditional and state holidays. Folk music. Contemporary music. Visual arts. Literature. History. The political system of the Republic of Lithuania. Lithuanian language.

Grades:
Quizzes 40%; Essays 30%; Final project 30%.
