Over the summer, a constellation of favorable circumstances helped us complete the Graduate Student Offices remodel project.
We would like to extend a very special THANK YOU! for donations and pledges from the following Advisory Board Members: Rick Peterson, Erik Pihl, Pirkko Borland, Anni Fuller, Lars Matthiesen, Will Larson, Randi Aulie, and Erik Sundholm.
We would also like to thank Maren Anderson Johnson and Evan Wright for their roles in initiating the project, as well as Lotta Gavel Adams for lending them advice and support.
Much gratitude goes out to the people that helped assemble the furniture: Jan Sjåvik, Guntis Šmidchens, Taija Hämäläinen, Kein Jenson, Mimi Nielsen, Liina-Ly Roos, Heather Short, Jess Larsen, and Mariama Salia.
The former furniture was removed by Surplus, the walls were painted by the Paint Shop, and the bookshelves and notice boards were installed and earthquake proofed by the Carpenters in Facilities Services.
