There are three Honors designations: Interdisciplinary Honors, Departmental Honors, and College Honors. The Departmental Honors Program provides eligible students with a special academic experience above and beyond their major and prepares them for eventual graduate work. Upon successful fulfillment of the requirements, participants in the Departmental Honors program receive a diploma that reads "With Honors in Scandinavian Studies."
