The Global Swede award is awarded to active, committed and enthusiastic students who are excellent in areas closely related to innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship and shown that they are great representatives of their own country as well as Sweden. Department alum Megan Penhoet was honored as Malmö University's representative for the Global Swede Award of 2021. Megan is the Founder/Director of Nordic Scholars Leadership Institute.
