Amy Swanson King is a second-year Ph.D. student studying issues impacting the Sami, American Sami and descendants, Indigenous diaspora and language revitalization. Before entering the Ph.D. program, she enjoyed a career in journalism and education and continues to work as a freelance writer and editor.
